Resolution Problem

I have just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 I'm having a slight but with resolution on one of my monitors. I have enabled the extended display so I now have two widescreen monitors connected to one PC. Both monitors are approximately 23 inches. However, the second monitor is not displaying properly. The easiest way for me to explain this is to include a photograph of both monitors. You will see there are two large caps either side of the desktop. Strangely even though it looks smaller, it is actually the same size as my main monitor, it just got these gaps. Any idea what is causing this, it wasn't doing it before

Yeah, change the resolution on the other monitor to be correct.
Sometimes instead of using the built in windows display properties>settings your video card might have it's own software for making the adjustments. I would start there...
