Resized Clickbank/Craigslist image ads stop ghosting.

We know that a killer headline and that little red img
get the first clicks on Craigslist. Once they click on your headline and you
have an effective offer for the market you get a click.

Problem, you need to post in several cities and not get ghosted
    or nailed for spamming.

Craigslist is now marking same sized image ads as spam

How can you get around that?
Get your self several posters and arm them with several headlines as usual for
    each city.
The second part of the equation is to use differently sized versions of the same ad.
By that I mean if your original ad size is 650x550 then resize it for you second
ad to be 649x549 and then on and on.
You can go the other way also.
Important: don't go up from the original size to much or the image ad
    will digitize and look unprofessional.

Many of my clients have used my image ad creation service to create landing type pages
for their craigslist/clickbank campaigns with great success but they also know what the
stumbling blocks are. This little tweek just takes a minute to do on your image editor.

Using craigslist and clickbank is a powerfull combination if you use the image ad as
as landing page or simple squeeze page.
    Grab their attention
    Create interest
    Increase their desire
and use a call to action.

The ad can easily be linked to your sales page.

I have one client that ordered 25 different sizes and several that have ordered as
few as 10. It depends on how many you give ea poster.

Samples of ads I have created and resized are in my thread

Hopefully craigslist crack down on this. I actually use craigslist (as a regular person) and I hate to see all the spammed up crap up on it.

You shouldn't use Craiglist or USFreeAds for Clickbank product promotions at all.

It's not really the right place for advertising such stuff.

I have not found this to be the case. Why do you say that?

Heh clearly you won't ;) Honestly I hate unsolicited advertising techniques though, this is what gives ClickBank such a bad name with consumers.

    To answer seowarrior.
I am not a poster I am a designer. The information came to me from 2 different posters that a couple of my clients have been using.
With all the changes that CL imployes it made sense to me.
It wouldn't take much to find images from a poster that are the same size and name and then extrapolate that it would be the same image.

They ghost you for the same headline and the wrong keywords etc.
If I am wrong on this someone please let me know. I want to go back to my clients and tell them to get another poster. When I get a couple of sources that don't know each other saying the same thing I take notice.

LOL but then again there are alway net myths to take into account.

Who is newindia why are they banned and why are they going to give a reply. They were never part of the thread.

As far as clickbank is concerned, It really is how you advertise any product or service. Some are soft sell and some are hard sell. If I offered to give you alot of information that you wanted for free and then charge you for more information that you want what is wrong with that.
As hard sell just will try to sell you now. That just doesn't work very well.
Personally I like the stuff I see on craigslist it feels more like a real market place.
It's one of the few bastions of raw capitalism left and they keep making it hard to stay that way.

I suppose the restrictions and how to get around them are part of the fun

I'm letting you know I post hundreds of clickable images of identical size every day without a problem.

Ad size won't flag like other factors, but many ppl do resize their ads just to make sure. It can't hurt if your ads do get through.

I went back to the poster that told me about this first and this is his response, plus another craigslist change.
It would seem that marketing on craigslist is also an art.

I hope the posting software people are using can keep up with the changes.

(I don't know what your poster friends are doing, but I know that my ads are( being posted sucessfully and not being ghosted if I change each ad by size, etc. If every ad is the same craigs list will spot and start blocking and ghosting. Also, they are now putting other items in their filtering, link URL links, if used too ofter, they are blocking. We are recommending that our clients provide different url links to get around this.)
