Reset Domain Creation Date

I registered an Expired domain (expired in April 2007) through Godaddy in July 2007. It was originally registered two years ago. In WHOIS, it shows a Creation Date of July 2007.

I just wonder if there is a way to reset the Creation date to show the first registration date. Any procedures that I have to go through to get it fixed? It helps in terms of SEO. Google loves old site.

Once the domain name goes through the drop process, it starts fresh. There is no way to go back to the original registration date... hence the reason some folks will pay big bucks for aged domains.

Why do you want to do that?

So that Google think that the domain is old. Google likes that. Or so I've heard.

And if that option were available, it will likely create unnecessary confusion.

So nope, no way to edit the creation date. End of story.
