Just wonder anyone here using reserve price in eBay? If yes, do you think there is conflict in between auction price and reserve price? Any comments? Please help. Thanks

When you use a reserve fee, you actually pay a "fine" when you are item gets bids but doesn't reach the reserve price that you have set. For that reason, this option is no longer very popular with ebay sellers.

The reserve price is good at times. If you have an item that you want to put up for auction but you want to be sure to get at least $50 for it, you set the reserve price at $50. This way the bidding starts at $50 and go as high as people bid. If you don't set the reserve it could sell for $20 which is much less than you want to sell it for.
