resellerspanel

I use resellerspanel to host my webhost until I can have a custom site made. Is that a good strategy? I understand that can't really be competitive with the packages they limit me to but that's why I'm mostly using word of mouth coupled with directory / SE submissions in order to get customers. Should I stick with this webhosting solution? Any experience with this company out there? Tips? thanks

I don't want to stay here forever, but I figure I can save money and promote the name for the time being until I get a custom site built, reseller hosting, etc.

Those who are into hosting for quite sometime can easily recognize resellerspanel templates very easily. So i suggest you either get a new design quickly if you do not want to be termed a reseller and you might lose prospective clients if they are shy of resellers.

Its depend on you.But you can find a lot of cheaper reseller plan from other web host company.
If it best to no use reseller account to sell account coz its not a customer to buy hosting from reseller.
What i suggest is you buy at least a vps to start with, and then slowly grow your client based and then only switch to dedicated server

ResellersPanel does offer vps hosting. I'm just trying to build my backlinks right now. I have submitted my site to many directories. I think I can make some money if I advertise locally, but I'm unsure where to go for business cards and fliers.

I'd like a custom site before I begin with the vps...

I'm not sure a web design co. would be interested but I'd be willing to offer partnership / branding on my site in exchange for web design services. In other words, on the biz card it would advertise the web design co. as well on the fliers and on the website. "If you need web design, we know just the place" If no company is interested in that, then I'll just pay for a custom site out of my pocket.
