Reseller Tax Id has stalled all my e-commerce plans. Can anybody help?

    I was planning to sell furniture online. Most of the wholesalers who dropship ask for a Reseller Tax id and I do not have it since I am based out of the US.

    Any alternatives?

    Look for suppliers in other countries based near you.

    just tell them you don't have one because your based outside of the USA. usually then they wont care, since the tax id is only for USA based individuals and companies.

    Many US wholesalers wont accept international merchants. If you cant present them a valid reseller id they have to pay taxes, which they dont want of course.
