Reseller of a Directi reseller

    Hello everyone,

    Right now, I am a sub-reseller of a Directi( myorderbox.com ) reseller.

I buy domains from him at $6.66 each. Now, I had a few queries that I'd appreciate if they were answered here.
I'd prefer anyone speaking from experience rather than just google.

    Anyways, the queries.

    1) What happens to my reseller account and my domains if he decides to cancel his account with directi, or his account is banned.

    2) Since I have over 25 domains now, can I shift over as a direct reseller under Directi without paying the hefty deposit ?

    Thanks

The one i know for certain is that you can't have a discount with prepaying the required amount

I just talked to Directi about this a few days ago. They set up what is essentially a fake reseller account and then move your subaccount under the fake account so that you can continue business as usual.

You can go to resellerclub.com and initiate a live chat if you want details from them.

If you're just wondering, and don't really think your reseller is going to shut down, could you PM the reseller to me? I'm having trouble with mine and can't get any responses to my support e-mails.

Oh yeah... the second part of the question... you have to start all over if you open your own reseller account. They won't credit you for any of the funds you've paid to your reseller.

They actually discourage sub-resellers from becoming resellers, because it takes money away from the resellers, but I was told if I was unhappy with my reseller and really wanted to become a reseller myself, they wouldn't stop me.
