When they say they give you 5gb diskspace for reseller. Can each account you create have 5gb diskspace? or is the 5gb divided?

You'll have to divide the 5GB among all your accounts under that plan

The answer varies depending on the company that you buy the account from. None of them will let you use more space than you pay for. Some are over-selling enabled accouts and some are not.

Company A is overselling enabled. They allow you to sell your customers as much space for each account as you want to. They in turn track only your actual usage and that can not exceed the space you purchased.

Company B does not allow over-selling so you must divide the space you purchased between the clients you sell. All allocated space counts aganist your 5GB whether is is actually used or not.

Bandwidth can be done the same way but is more commonly just counted in the total for all the sub accounts.

Reasonable over-selling is not a bad thing. Most people never use all the space they purchase.

yup yup.. it's total. You have to divide. I'm with host gator and I have to split 20 gigs. It seems like nothing until you get more customers, then you can keep upgrading.... but getting customers is the hard part :p

Well that would be total across all the accounts. Now if it's a host with overselling enabled it would just be total usage across all sites opposed to space allocated.

I'd go with a reseller with over selling enabled on the account because generally people think their site will take 5gb of space and then find they only use 300mb. So instead of having 1 account on there it could be 10 or more.
