    i want to move server because of tech problems in my current host..

    I need reliability and speed(bandwith) diskspace would come later

    I don't think that is enough RAM but I could be wrong.

    I say go straight to a dedi box.

    i see so many people going to a VPS then a month or 3 later moving to a dedi box and spending twice as much as intended due to tech hours moving the sites over.

    You can get a cheap dedi box these days with cpanel starting @ $70USD a month.
