Reselering Experinece

Is there anyone here with resellering experience? I need to here some advices from some webhosting companies.

 

In what way related to Optigold?

 

I need some advices because i want to try with reselling business. What is better option, reselling or dedicated?

 

A reseller account is good to start to get your feet wet because it offers the least expensive entry into the business.. From there, as you grow, move to dedicated.. Hope this helps!

 

What about CP? Should i search for servers with CPanel or H-Sphere [or some other]?

 

And one more question.
Is the distance for servers important for accessing and administration?
Because I am from Europe, and I would like to find some good web hosting company with servers in Europe.

 

cPanel seems to be the most popular and easiest by far. It's all we sell.

No, it does not matter where your server is physically located.. We are in the US and 95% of our customers are located outside of the US, with the bulk in Europe..

 

If you intend to run gameserver for example, server location really matters. But in normal uses, you should not notice any difference. You should be more concerned with page design for example, if you put large images on your site, it will load slow regardless of server location

It's not easy getting into this especially if you already have questions, the competition is through the roof

 

True, there is a great deal of competition.. That said, setting yourself apart from the rest and doing something unique is one way to make an impact. While there is a lot of competition, there is still more than enough business to go around. We've done more business in the last two months than we have done all year.

I've found that focusing on niche markets, providing good service and custom tailored plans is a good place to start making that impact.

Don't be discouraged.. You can always build a better mouse trap!

 

well if u never sold webhosting acc.s then u should try reseller accs. then if u r getting more customers and if u can manage all those then try ..semi dedicated ( yaah ....semi dedicated) then further if u got more then 50 cust.s u can choose dedicated servers ......this is basics ....
