Researching Hosting Packages

Discussion in 'Domain Names' started by Karen615, Feb 8, 2008.

My client currently has her Web hosting with InfoQuest and her domain name registered with Network Solutions. I want to combine them into the same provider. Does anyone have any suggestions to who else offers good packages? I received a quote from Network Solutions and InfoQuest, but was wondering if I should look elsewhere. I checked GoDaddy also.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated, Karen

Personally, I wouldn't combine my hosting and domain registrar... only had bad experiences.

Not combined, but I would recommend Dotable for hosting, and dynadot for domains.

They tend to make it very hard to do anything with your domain... when keeping hosting and domain combined.

some places you might want to check out are Hostgator, Mydomain.com and dotster which all offer good hosting or domain registration are very reasonable prices.

    no need to combine them

there are a lot of good and reliable hosting providers

is your customer looking forward to move out of his current host? having problems?

The reason I wanted to switch is that my client currently pays $20/month for hosting. That's a lot! Don't you think?

    Thanks, Karen

yes $20 is a lot for basic hosting but it's not a lot for a business to pay if they find it does everything they need and is secure.
