Hi All: I am developing some PLR content packages that I would like to sell so that I can earn extra money. My package idea right now is 25 articles, two 5-page reports, and one 25-page e-book all on one niche packaged together. I do have a few questions about selecting the best niches and pricing my package. 1) What do all of you recommend for researching profitable niches? I have tried using sites that show tag clouds of the most popular searches, but the results haven't been too positive using that technique. Is there a site or software that helps you find out "what's hot" so you can target your PLR content appropriately? 2) What do you recommend in terms of exclusivity of content? My thought is that with 25 articles, two reports, and one full-length e-book, the people who buy from me probably won't be using all of the content. One Webmaster might use 10 of the articles for an Adsense site, while a business owner might give away the free reports in exchange for signing up for his e-zine. I was thinking of limiting the content to 100 buyers. Any comments/suggestions on that? 3) Pricing is always a sticky subject. I have seen original PLR article packs going for $10 for 10 articles, so my thinking is that it would not be unreasonable to ask for $19 for a set that includes 25 articles, two reports, and one e-book. Any comments/suggestions on that price point? Thanks in advance for your suggestions and input. This is such a valuable forum.
1. about selecting profitable niches: i feel topic related to business, finance, Internet and Businesses Online and health and fitness are quite hot topics these days. 2. As you have already said, pricing is a very sticky subject when it comes to PLR content. But i think, hiking the price to $25 and restricting it to say, 75 people will do the trick. 3. i think, i have already covered this part above.
I wouldn't limit the plr content. That would be limiting your profits. As you sell packages, show the number sold so buyers will know how many others have bought that particular package. If you have 25 sold, the next person to come along can decide if they want to buy what 25 others have bought or go for a different package.
well, what Traci has said.... still goes... there is one more option... You can set a unique price as well, so if the buyer buys at the unique price, no other person gets to buy after him.
