I'm working on an article on Google and their recent activities. I was hoping I could ask some of the "big fish" like you a few questions. Feel free to answer as many or as few as you like. You can either PM the answers back to me, or email them to Thanks for your help and consideration. 1. One of the primary sources for website valuation, Google Pagerank, is basically an ever-changing algorithm that nobody except a few math geeks inside Google can readily define. How do you feel about this, considering its impact on what is basically a billion-dollar industry? 2. How does Google’s decision to go after people who buy and sell text links affect the ability of the website consumer to buy, sell, and determine values of websites? 3. How can the “little guy†continue to make money on the internet when Google basically changes the rules every few months? 4. It is very easy for people and web companies with a significant sized site to offer the advice to simply “ignore Googleâ€, but is this really a plausible strategy, especially for those who derive their primary income from some source where their Google Pagerank is a major determining factor in the value of their site? 5. Google-Killer. Is there such a thing? Not Google as a search engine, but Google Pagerank as a valuation system? How could website, weblink, and web traffic valuation be more impartial as a whole?
