Rescale pictures are blury.

    Hy everibody.When i want to resize some png and jpg pictures they look blury in ie and firefox, but not in chrome.

    rather then scale down in html, use photoshop it should reduce blurryness

    yeah but i use the picture both in normal size and in small size!

    Try gif or optimize image. I think this may help you.

    Also forgive me if you already know this, but you cannot make photos larger than the original without reducing the quality. ;)

    By default when I used the GD library to create a thumbnail maker, it saved images at 75% quality, not 100%. Maybe you can adjust this?

    When you resample in Photoshop it has different methods you can select for resampling depending on whether you want to enlarge, reduce, smoother, sharper, etc. It does make a difference.

    But you will still lose quality when going bigger of course.
