    Ummm...

With Domain registration, you get your own tld / cctld with your control panel so that you have full control over the domain. Essentially, you can also buy addon services like whois protection ( free if you buy it from me ) , Managed DNS etc.

With Web-hosting, you basically get some amount of space on a server to store ( or host) your files, bandwidth - for visitors to view your pages, a control panel, emails, forwarders, subdomains, addon and parked domains, FTP accounts, email lists, statistics and other such things. You can get a trial hosting from us here OR here :D or just email us as

As for your last question, it purely depends on what "type" of website you have. You will not require a SSL certificate for a static-html site, but it would be very essential on a site which has a shopping-cart or where transactions take place.

    Thanks

cctld or tld = .com .net .in .org .info .mn .biz .us .pl .nl .net.in .org.in .cz .ca .it .co.uk .co.in .eu .ch .edu etc etc

sub-domains and parked domains = Like your domain is domain.com, then xxxx.domain.com is sub domain and if you've added another domain to your account like domain2.com to domain.com's acount, then its parked.

can i make money with parked domains?
    NO

    what is add-on?
Addon Domains are domains added to your acount. Parked domains only redirect to your main site while addon domains have site itself.

    whois protection
If you dont have it, your name and all the contact details you entered upon registration of domain are available public, thus you'll probably get bombed with emails as spam;) They hide your contact information.

    Bandwidth
Data Transferred in MBs or GBs from the sites added to your account.

    FTP Accounts
You need a login and pass for logging into FTP(File Transfer Protocol). Every different combination of username and pass is referred as account.

Seems like you are building a FAQs about domain name <-- maybe it could be useful.

DNS Server = Domain Name System server
Disk space = web space on the servers HDD (now i will wait for "whats HDD?") ;)
