I was wondering if you need to be 18 to sign up for Paypal. I am only 14 so I'm thinking I may have to wait And I know this will sound kind of dumb, but do you have to use a credit card on Paypal or can you use a bank card? Thanks.
Yes you need to be 18 to open an account on paypal. For the time being, you can use you can open your account using your parent's name. You need a credit card to get your account verified. You can do without a credit card but there are limitations on the amount of money you can withdraw per month and there is another limit on the money that you can send. If the bank card has a visa/master card logo then it can work too (in some countries debit or bank cards are not accepted). Make sure that the paypal account name and the name on the card should be same or you'll have trouble later in withdrawing the money.
Is it possible to have Paypal for people under 18 Your parents / legal guardian / sibling could sign up for it, but Paypal Account Sharing with relatives .. hows it comes to mind.
You need to be 18 to be have a PayPal account because you will need a credit card for proper verification and not to mention a back account. Your parents can make one in their names and then let you use it though..
