I currently manage Adwords at my place of employment. I'm interested in getting certified w/ Adwords because I think it will benefit me in my quest for a new job. My current job doesn't offer me benefits plus I'm underpaid (I could list the multitude of reasons as to why I want to leave my job but that's not why I"m here). Adwords certification on my resume will certainly give me more credibility. What are the requirements to get individually certified? I know that with Company certification you need to have access to the MCC and spend a minimum requirement. What about individually? Can I take the test without disclosing the Adwords account that I manage? Do I even need to have an Adwords account associated with my personal email in order to get certified? Sorry if these are dense questions but I really want to get certified w/out my current employer knowing about it.
