I decided to promote clickbank product. As I run small content company, so decided to promote products with Ezine and to direct with product review landing page.

Yesterday, after reading all rules and FAQS of clickbank, one thing I don't understood:

Many people said, "we made 1 sale from 100 Hops", What it means? As I understood, create one hoplink for site, you want to promote and paste into your landing page. I have to generate many hops or just one hoplink needed, containing your id.

I am completely newbie in affiliate world. If I said anything stupid, please ignore it.

One thing more, how to optimize your Ezine article page. Bookmarking etc... some more advice needed

    --Thanks

hops as in clicks on the hop links to the sales page.

Promotion of articles is like all others:
    Bookmarking (social ookmarking)
    Online SEO
    Forum posting
    Craiglists
    Facebook groups and posts
    Twitter
    Opt in pages
    ...
same as website to a degree...

    Hi Sarah,

Do you mean that you're sending out an ezine to people on your list? Or that you're writing articles at "EzineArticles.com"?

In this context, people are not using the word "hops" as an abbreviation for "hoplinks". They mean "clicks on the hoplink anchor-text".

I will strongly suggest that you go to the Clickbank site and click on the Help Center where you will find all the information needed to get started as a ClickBank affiliate or vendor. Browse the articles below or use the search box to the left to find the information you need. You will have to spend some quality time going through this but there is wealth of information to make it much easier for you.Be Blessed.

Sounds like he's basically saying that his program is converting at 1 out of every 100. At least this is what he's 'leading' you to believe. I'm sure that's not over the stretch of his entire traffic. I think on average it's more like 1/1,000 or worse. Especially for these types of programs. I wouldn't spend PPC money on most of them, but if you're generating free traffic to their programs it's not a bad way to earn a little extra cash.

I personally try to create my own programs and that seems to make really good money for me :)

    Thanks for all your response
I submitted 100 articles on 3 products into ezine, four days before
Hope to get my first sale, when articles got published.
My plans to submit 1000 articles per month into Ezine and than boookmark that articles into 20 top social directories. Means at the end of month, will get 20,000 links.

More advice will be appreciated, as I'am newbie.

I recommend using Digg.com and Reddit. They really boost you up on the search engines. Submit your articles to them.

Yep, will definitely bookmark on digg and reddit. I don't know, what's going with Ezine, showing same place in queue as on first day, almost 5 days passed now. Before, my articles always got published within 5 days.
