    Hi all,

I started a technology blog today.

Kindly review and let me know how I can improve it (other than by writing good content, of course)

    URL: http://www.webtechdaily.com/

    Thanks in advance.

Nice clean theme design. You may want to capitalize the first letters in your top navigation bar (home about -> Home About). Personally it would appear more professional.

Nice site. Interesting content and a clean and clear layout. Consider designing a logo or adding some graphics to the header.

    Good Luck

    Firstly, nice job!

The welcome icon is being cut off for me. Using Firefox 2.0.0.12.

I like the search bar. But having something that long, and even that wide, just for a search bar on the far right seems like wasted space. But then again, I like it. So it's a tossup for me...

Your advertise page seems to be lacking in content IMHO. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't provide me with enough information to get me interested in advertising on your website. Things like amount of visitors, your targeted audience, demographics, and everything else along those lines would make a great addition.

The Hostgator affiliate advertisement on content pages seems to be stretching things a bit too much.

Again to reiterate, all minor things, it's quite nice!

Can you please take a screenshot of the welcome icon? This is how it looks for me in Firefox 2.0.0.12:

Till the blog becomes popular, perhaps it's a good idea not to have that Advertise page. So I've hidden it for now.

I've replaced the 600px tall hostgator ad w/ a 160x240 ad on single posts.

    Thanks for your feedback Tyler.

Doesn't seem too bad. I like that you already have some template sites on there. Styleshout has been my top choice so far, so hopefully your links will provide me some new places to turn for layouts :)

Here is what I see, sri:

    Everything is looking good. :)

Edit : I am assuming I am not seeing the entire icon is because my text size is a bit smaller than yours, so taking up a bit less room. Maybe define the font family and font size, if not already done?
