I work for a small company that has recently developed a health oriented social networking site (www.synahealth.com). I hoped to be able to get feedback from the users and find some innovative marketing techniques. If anyone is interested in checking out the site and providing feedback, it would be greatly appreciated.

What is the specific Marketing Technique mean?
If you mean by getting more visitor/traffic, then you need to optimize it for search engine friendly and will get targeting traffic as well.

Since your site is targeted at individuals interested in health, you should begin interacting with people who blog about health issues. By establishing a relationship with these types of bloggers, not only is there a chance that they will join your site, but they may also provide additional exposure for your site by blogging about it.

There looks to be a lot of good content on the site. Are you planning a PR campaign to officially launch the new site? I would start with health editors/reporters that are local to your business. That way, you will have the "local business" angle as well as the news about your website. Send them a press release announcing the launch of your new website and tell them why it will be good news to report to their readers. Remember, the most important thing for a press release is that it should be "newsworthy". If you get good play locally, you will then be positioned to take a regional or national approach.
