If Google doesn't allow your ad for whatever reason and you fill in the exception box, how long does it take to get an answer? Do they email you with the answer? Thanks, Jon
They won't email you, it will just either just stay that way or be resolved. It can be changed within 24 hours but can also take up to 2 days.
Well here is the problem. I have those ads in Adwords editor to overwrite my existing ads on their service. Adwords editor just says there is a trademark violation, but I can't see anywhere on the editor to request an exception and so the ads don't get uploaded. It is only when I go to the online adwords interface to change the advert that I get the exception box option. There are 900 ads where I want the exception. What do I do? Surely not request an exception for each and every advert? That would take hours!
Sign into Adwords and try and get the exception sorted. Once it's been accepted - go back into Adwords Editor and try and upload then. If you are talking about 900 different exceptions (I assume not), then good luck! Alternatively, change the trademarked word for something else - or a slightly different spelling variation. That usually works.
I'd try a workaround like mentioned above. The last thing I want is some Adwords rep snooping around in my account. You never know if they'll find anything else they don't like.
