    Hello
I'm in a big hole of animal waste here, i'm currently designing my site and it's ready for launch, or so i thought it was.

It means that i may have wasted hundreds of hours.

My home page is 388 kb in size, some other pages are bigger. I don't see why they are this size, i use serif software, my logo alone is over 138 kb including a menu bar.

How am i able to use this design software if the files are so large.

Please can someone help, how can i reduce my page sizes and some guidance on page size recommendations would be highly beneficial.

    Thanks

Every time i get close, i fall further behind.

    James

What software are you using to create your images? Products like photoshop and fireworks can help you make the image smaller in mb.

I noticed that you used a lot of PNG files. PNG files can be huge so it might be better to try and convert them to jpg if the files are more photobased with a lot of color or gif for more basic images. You would probably want to use jpg for your logo and other images that I can see.
