I've just relaunch my article directory a couple weeks ago. However, I would like to know what's the correct way to get my pagerank higher? Since my article directory is about everything... How do I choose revelant site with good content to link to? Isn't it harder to choose revelant content site when it comes to linking to an article directory? Does anyone have any input on this matter?
it's hard to get link due to almost all articles on the article directories are duplicate content, whatever it's quality or not, you never know how many times the articles have been copies by other sites.
It would probably be good for you to get links pointing to different articles....from relevant sites. Make sure you link back to your homepage from all articles. That way you will get targetted links and heigher weight to your site.
Quality backlinks are needed for a good PR. Get links from article directories, web directories, forums, etc. and choose the appropriate category for your site. I also heard the age of the domain name and how long it is registered is part of the Google algorithm in computing PR. Although I haven't found any concrete documentation about this, most websites having high PR have been in the internet long enough.
Thanks for the input everyone.... It's greatly appreciated.. To billion: your advice sounds a lot better.. I'll try your strategy. Thanks
Happy if I could help. One thing that is good about building links that way is that you will have many more options to get links.
