Requesting Advice on the toughest market to sell to - nerds.

I'm here to ask your advice about a site I developed in 2010 which I never intended to make money with. It has a relatively high traffic volume and makes an embarrassing 25$ a year. Right now I'm monetizing only with Google Ads, which I get an absolutely pathetic 0.08% clickthrough on.

In comparison, all my other websites (about 10) are doing between 1% and 5% CTR on google adsense - it's a fairly nice earner for me overall.

I think the issue is that the website is basically targeted at the ultimate ubernerd - dwarf fortress players. Do you know the game? I know nerds are far less likely to click on ads, and far more likely to actually have an adblock installed. I'm one of them after all.

So I'm wondering if you guys have any advice about what I can promote to these tough customers - is there an affiliate product, ebook, computer equipment, or something else these readers would respond to?
