I wondering this site has been live for many years but do not drive much traffic since design and layout is not demanding.I made a few changes now but I need your inputs for better visual impact.Thank you
Hi Hilhilginger, The first thing that strikes me, and i mean this in a purely constructive sense, is the clutter. A lot of your article titles are overlapping and crowding the surrounding space. Maybe you could try thin out the content or article blocks per page? Another initial point would be it seems as if you're using multiple different fonts, this could just be me but i like my fonts to either all be standardised or have a reason for a change, a logo font may be different to the body for example. Your landing page image seems to be pixelated, this could just be my internet or laptop but if it's a true representation this could be a quick fix that would make the website look a lot more professional. I've also noticed a few missing conjoining words or broken sentences, if you're wanting to sell content for people this may not portray the right message. Hope some of these are even slightly useful Charlie
If I was buying writing services I'd close your site because of this: I wouldn't want to have to correct the work I'd just paid for. If you can't proof your own sales pitch you're not likely to care about my stuff. This is a hot mess As @Charlie Miller pointed out your headings overlap with the featured writers, you have colours and fonts all over the place and is just clumsy. Then wtf is this - what's a "scrible" and why when I click to I go to a .tk site that has a "start mining" button, a heading, an ad and nothing else. Credibility destroyed all over again.
@sarahk I made the changes on the links and words as you mentioned. And I will work on overlap issue by changing the template to mobile savy one. Thank you
omg it just gets worse FWIW I don't care how much you munt the English language unless it's your profession. If you were a designer it'd be ok, but you are selling written copy and that's not.
