    Request to Directory Forum Moderators

    Hi,
    i recently updated my thread here about a MOD: Add a Payment Link, in the Link Submitted Email by Dir.vc-msolution - updated to phpLD 3.x

    and it was moved to freebies section!!!:(

    the freebies section is visited by ALL webmasters, may they be from the hosting industry, or the blogging industry,....so to say the % of Directory owners is very few!:(

    It is a forum full of free stumbles and free digs!

    for them a phpLD (Directory MOD, be it paid or free) is of no use!

    a Mod made for a directory should be posted in the directory section, for the people who ultimately will use it, and not for people who will treat it as a misplaced thread!:)

    I request the Directory Forum moderators, Please let us know as to where Mods for directories should be posted so as to let everyone know where to look for them.

    IF be allowed i vote that all Mods should remain in the directory section, irrespective that they are free or paid, coz the makers of MODS and the users are all here :)

    You're not the only one! Other mods announcement has been moved to other forums.

    I agree, not even the moderator know where to post mod announcement.

    there is a general confliction with all forums. it led to me getting a 1 month ban last month. I was not happy

    i also think that the free directory announcement should have a seperate forum, they really take over the place...

    Some good mods you have there, I've wanted a next/previous mod for a while.

    Free phpLD mods should 100% be in the directories forum or sub forum. I would like to hear a mod try and rationally explain otherwise.

    Maybe all paid mods should be moved to the services forum too.

    you will get some infractions here as they are giving it for reasons like this!

    All the Mods should be here only irrespective of whether are free or paid ,if they move to services section it would defeat the whole purpose of why mod was created!
    I do n't see a duplicate there ! also It is not going to give any benefits to me!

    I most humbly request the Moderators again,

    stop giving us infractions, and let newbies know the rules!

    and people who wish to search for mods, a designated place to search for them!

    I also dont think we should get infraction for posting in the wrong place. Half the time i never know where to post.
