Request to check ad placement

I have now been involved in IM for almost 9 months now, and feel its time to get serious about things. I have been reading that ads on the bottom of a site is not good. I have been getting decent CTR on my ads, about 1.9 percent, but feel I could be doing better. Does anyone have any suggestions from ad placement?

First thing I notice is the google ad below the text: 'Bowling Resources' that's not allowed by the AdSense TOS, remove the text or change it to Sponsored, or Advertisement or something along those lines. The ads on the bottom of the pages aren't very good, I'd separate your left sidebar and put one in between the 'new' top left sidebar and the bottom left sidebar.

 

I have made some changes. Any more suggestions?

you can use twitter to drive lots of traffic.

 

I really liked how you placed the 1-row horizontal link ads. It is a bit hard to see at first, but mostly because you don't notice it as an ad. I like that.
