    Hello
I am a newbie in the blogging arena. I am an fx trader but wish to diversify my income and start earning through blogging(adsense, affiliate marketing or other sources). I would really appreciate if blogging pros and Gurus would offer to mentor me to earn a decent income through Blogs.
Please pm me your yahoo or Google id if you are willing to help me. Maybe I could help you in other ways too. Remember Good deeds always return back.

Hope to get the guidance of good mentors

It's unlikely a blogging "guru" is going to simply take you under their wing. Instead, read the blogging forum here, and ask questions. Waiting for someone to just come along and guide you is the lazy way out. Be more proactive.

I don't think you'll find some "Guru" to help you that way. Anyways, read threads on forums, ask questions, read blogs like shoemoney.com, searchenginejournal and more to gain knowledge. Implement what you learn. Always keep in mind that it can take some good of time to get things going. Maintain your patience and keep working.

I agree with what jhmattern and mixke has said, there is plenty of information available in DP and only several of the blogs catering to this niche. Go through them and start experimenting and don't be impatient about making money, it is better to aim for long term, rather than short term.

Dont follow anyone who calls themselves a guru, or expert also beware and look out for individuals and blogs where they put themselves accross as a "guru" but infact know very little.

Forums generally work where you read as much as you can and then ask if your still confused, nobody is going to hand you an all in one package of how to make money with blogging, unless they are selling you a service.

The best thing you can do is read lots here, soak it up.

jhmattern is right...being proactive is the way to go. Getting honest and reliable free info just be creating a new thread here is very unlikely.

However, there are users that did offer to help...perhaps we could be of some assistance if you post your blog url and means goals.
