Digg it up guys. All you need is 30 diggs and your on the front page. There are more then 30 posters in this thread. We could easily cycle our selfs though the front page of digg.

You can see who dugg from the digg page. Most of us use consistent usernames.

DigitalPoint is getting slammed over at Digg and our collective reputations are being tarnished because there is a feeling that we're digging but not reading.

If you participate in this thread, or any others of this kind, don't park your brains. Read the stories and digg, comment or bury as you see fit.

IYou could see it going in that direction as people have gotten lazy and instead of explaining why they think the story is Digg worthy, they are just posting a link.

It still takes people who are genuinely interested in order to hit the front page. I have definately chosen not to Digg more in this thread then I have Dugg as some are downright spammy.

PS. Where have you seen DP getting slammed - In comments of the people who are asking for Diggs or publicly elsewhere?

The key with getting your stories onto digg is to look at the other stuff thats there. 99% of the time if your story gets no diggs its because its not very good.

I have asked for diggs on this forum and it has no effect on whether you hit the front page or not IMO.

The best way to get onto the front page is to ignore what you want to write and submit an article about how "Google is beating Apple in the race to build a Web 2.0 AJAX application". ;)

I admitted it was my mistake Sarahk and in my Digg page someone has asked a Question for the exchange and from then i didnot request.

Now let my matter end here.

Sorry mate, I wasn't trying to drag your case up again. As I said it was an explicit example of people on digg complaining about forum based digg requests. It was easy for me to find because I'd commented and I could just search back through my comments.
