Why you suppose that is? Are you a jerk? Are you selling stuff without being a help to the community in general? Are you making comments on old threads?

If you want to change it..just be friendly and helpful and soon you will be groping some greenies.

 

Are reputation votes static or dynamic? In other words if I get an "approve" vote from someone today who doesn't have enough points to actually pass any points, but subsequently he/she accumulates more rep points, will their vote for me reflect their changed status or will it remain forever a non point bearing vote?

 

i think its always a no-point vote. the points you get are at the time the rep is given.

 

I think the next person who brings this thread back to life (after this post) should be mass red repped

 

Hmmm... it's changed in this new version of vBulletin.

It used to just say "reputation even" or whatever. Now it lists any rep for that post plus your total rep count.

 

Surely if it was dynamic it would lead to an exponential increase every time someone was repped due to the increase in points someone can give at each level increase. Really Compar, I would have expected better from you.

 

It wasn't a serious question. I've been getting a lot of positive feedback from newbies lately and they don't carry point of course. That and I just wanted to pad my post count like the rest of you rep hounds
