If I may say one more thing: this thread has shown me that I have more friends than I thought, but also more enemies than I thought (yes, you've guessed it ... thru reds and stuff ).

It's all good though. Win some lose some. I know I've acted like an ass, but who hasn't at some point. So I hope we can bury all this stuff and move on.

Yes and no. I have to say that I have gotten one red rep in here that the repper actually signed and I actually appreciated it very much. Sometimes you just need to be shown when you're going overboard (others have done so as well, but in private). I wished more people would do that. What I don't like is when a rep is given out of spite. It's not so much the rep I care about, but rather the intention behind it that bothers me. That is how I feel about it in all honesty, so I'm not going to sit here pretending "I don't care about rep". I do, to some degree, but the same way green ones are nice as a compliment, acknowledgement pr agreements, red ones can be irritating. The problem is that you don't always know why they are given. Some are justified, others given out of spite or an attempt to moderate you. My advice would be to be yourself, post what you feel like, but also be sensitive to the feelings of others. Sometimes we don't see how we annoy others when we really do

Yeah, that's right, I figured that out by some of my posts too (which received a red rep).
If I had a reputation to share I'd give you some for this post, but unfortunately I can't, because I have only 7 pts

 

Has everyone figured out that if you are using Netscape with POPup blocker turned on, or IE with one of the toolbars that include a POPup blocker, that you can't get the reputation dialoque box?

I give rep so seldom that I always forget this and have to struggle to send any.
