Reputation

I guess some people are just plain stupid handing out negative rep for my avatar because they hate Bush.
At the very least have a closer look at the Avatar and the facial expression, Idiots.
Is there a way to find out who gave the rep? I would like to thank the moron.

I shouldn't have to avoid confusion. People should get reputation based on their words in the forum not on their avatar.
Overall I have also gotten neutral rep for threads where I actually have helped people. I think some idiots are on a rampage.
I would encourage a system that automatically gives negative rep for every 5 negatives given.

You can do nothing to make them stop giving you negative reps.. unless you change it

people think you are the supporter of killing troops

 

Its important when you make deals with other webmasters or when you have an argument with someone with lots of rep.

Its forum trustrank so to speak. Besides it just pi***d me off when I saw it, thats all.

 

Who gives a rats ass about your reputation?? Why do people insist on starting stupid threads to whine about it?

 

Obviously you do give enough rats asses about it that it is worth to reply.

Fryman, I have seen your threads, they are along the lines:

Andre, I've been there, and I understand the frustration - I've been called many things, anonymously, and it blows. But if you think about it, this is just a (really good) forum, an exchange of ideas, and no one is threatening to shoot us - to get worked up about it, well, aren't their bigger battles? Just words.

The other thing, from what I have heard, posting a thread like this tends to bring more out of the woodwork. The best advice I got was move on, keep posting worthy things and the rep will follow.

I guess I proofed it by giving some actual feedback. What a worthless system. If it is that easy to manipulate and sign with someone elses name.
