Whoooooot??? I thought the max rep power was 10. Also does anyone know what your rep count has to be to be effectable in GC i have got some greens in that too but most of the time its grey

 

I believe that every 1000 posts adds 1 to your power as does every year you've been a member.

Ex: a member with 10K posts that's been here 2 years can affect you by up to 13 points.
10 for 10k posts
2 for 2 years
1 that you start with.

 

I have 4k posts and have been here over a year so I should affect someone by 7 points.

To test it out I will rep. the first person to post their rep points so we can see the effect. (warning: second person gets a red rep)

I dont think you should have 7 because i have heared that every 100 point you have for your rep gets you 1 rep power and every 100 points you give out gives you 1 rep power. I dont know if i made it clear or not but every 100 point you get your rep power increases by one and every 100 points you give out also add 1 rep power am i right ?

 

What are you at now?

 

Are those limits, or examples, if those were examples then Shawn (member DigitalPoint) would have this much rep power:

18 for 18,672 posts
2 for over 2 years
1 that he started with

He has total 21 rep power, cool.

 

I can'r remember how long I have been here at DP. I think DP is now part of my body. It's an extension of my fingers. It's a natural thing to post on DP. See? I have not control over what I am typing. DP DP DP DP DP....................

I believe that max rep power is 10 and i have had rep from almost every established member here and never got more then 10 so i know for sure it is 10.

I have 431 now and your rep power was 10 Roman and thats the max

I found it from the faq:

Everyone starts with a reputation of 10
You can alter other people's reputation by 1 point by default
For every 365 days after you register, your altering power increases by 1
For every 1,000 posts, your altering power also increases by 1
For every 100 reputation points that other's give you, your altering power increased by 1
User must have at least 50 posts before they can affect other's reputation
You must have a reputation of 10 or higher to be able to affect others (it's 10 by default)
You can alter up to 10 user's reputations per day
You must alter different user's reputations before you can alter the same user's again

DP is so addicting that i am thinking of sueing DP now joke ofcourse

I now spend more then 13 hours on DP. I have DP as homepage on my MDA,Laptop,Desktop,Office PC,Home PC and study computer

This is all i do as long as my employees can handle everything at dealership and right now i am living alone in huge house so nothing more to do I get bored sometime when i dont see interesting topics.

No, as far as I know number of posts only affect your rep altering power, not your own reps.
