Hey, I was wondering if there was by any chance that a senior member can possibly post what should deserve a green rep and what should deserve a red rep, it's not that I care, but me being a new member, I don't want to give out rep for no reason, but I would like to be generous and thank others for help. Thanks in Advance, Mike ::Also:: Should a normal trade be rated as Positive or Neutral? I don't want to give somebody Negative Itrade if they shouldn't get it.
Use your best judgement. If you feel a post was informative, helpful and deserving of green rep, by all means. If you feel compelled to hand out red rep for a post do so. The red rep will cost you 1 point to hand out, so it makes you think a little. The iTrader is up to you based on your experience with the transaction. I'd leave no feedback before leaving a neutral, but that's personal preference. I'm starting to wait a few days before submitting any iTrader feedback as I've had different feelings about certain transactions a few days later - changes to the original agreement, paying a set price only to see the same offer reduced within 24hrs, etc.
Alright, I never knew that it costed 1 rep to give a red rep. So if red rep is 1 point, giving somebody else 1 red is just like giving yourself one. I never thought about that before with the price reduction and all, I will consider that if I ever get in a questionable trade. Thanks
Okay here's what I do: Positive - The sale/purchase was smooth and nothing went wrong. Neutral - The sale/purchase occured but there was some negative things that happened. Negative - The sale or purchase was HELL. Skinny
Alright, I have another question. Will I have to worry about being banned because I sold something to somebody, and they asked for their money back, but I can't because I would be working off an unverified account? Or will DP not get involved with such matters. I don't like the idea working off one, but I will have to wait about 16 months or so until I can get it verified. I can't face any trouble can I?
DP normally doesnt get involve in deals between members. And as long as you are not trying to scam members here, you will be fine. Just make sure that you give true informations to members when offering anything to them.
Alright, thanks. I know, I will have to try to provide as much information as I can, in most cases, if somebody bought something from me, and asked for a refund, I would probably give it to them, most would choose not to, but I can't anyways. Thanks Everybody.
If your service is good then why would anyone want any refund?? However if someone asks for a refund for some unreasonable reasons after the deal is sealed and closed, you are free to not to refund.
Sounds like you have Reputation and iTrader feedback confused. you will never get banned for bad iTarder feedback.
