I really dont care for it, be it red or be it green, as I have already reduced my posts on DP, the reason for it isn't that hard to guess but its not related to rep for sure. :)

I don't know how anyone here can like Fryman after what was revealed, to have 5 red "blobs", it shows what he does here with his time and why he's here.

Why abuse people like that for no good reason? I know he's a bully and must have been bullied but you'd think he'd grow up at some point and get over it.

As he's the only one attacking me, I feel relieved to know he was the main goon going around giving me and my friends and other members red for no reason.

He is and was the main DP riff raff.

. A portion of that red rep I gave was to people who were devaluing your forum. By red repping them, I helped to have something done about them at least in a round about way. Improving the overall quality of your forum. That has value.

    You're wrong.

They have value because people put value into them. Anything that receives your forum members time and positive effort has value. And if you add it up, we spend a tremendous amount of time on the rep system. Not all of us, but a very substantial portion of us do. Our time ads value to your forum, and therefore becomes valuable to you.

It's apparently valuable enough for you to spend the time you have implementing it, working on it and discussing it.

So whereas you might want to downplay any effect - negative or positive - the system itself and the effects your changes have made; You're actions and statements here are completely contradictory.

I realise it's probably foolish of me to but heads with you on this, but I'm not a sheep and I'd rather show you the respect of being honest in my opinion than jumping on the band wagon just because you said so.

It's still a great forum though, and I'd like to exchange my DP dollars for rep points. And because I'm the only one who has them and everybody wants them, compounded with the laws of supply and demand, I believe the going rate is 100 rep points per 1 DP dollar. Pay up ;)

And yes... When I find a lost cause, I really go for it.

    -Cheers

Well I have done business with a lot of people here including fryman and rep has never made a bit of difference with that.

THere ... I quoted it .. Now i have peace of mind.

I wonder if Shawn has a degree for that too.

Collen ? Fry has other abilities beside beeing a bully.

Everybody (or most, altough i do not) hates Anthony too, but i am sure he has other good things.

And the list goes on. Maybe you as an individual hate Fry more than the rest of us ?

I wasn't disputing his other abilities, but he certainly doesn't use them at DP.

I happen to like AnthonyCea, he was always very good to me.

BTW, are you being a leg humper? fence sitter? shit or get off the pot.

    Right..

IMHO rep comes in (usually) when people ask advices. A higher rep person usually knows something.

As far as business goes, there's the iTrader module Shoe. Not the stadard rep :)

I don't expect anyone to agree with me. People have 100% free thought here.

Personally, I think the change is a good one (obviously, otherwise it wouldn't have happened) because it will discourage people from red repping others. If someone wants to spend 1 rep point just to red rep someone, then there is a better chance they deserved it vs. having no "cost".

As far as making it retroactive... the main reason that was done was it was a good opportunity to knock down everyones rep a bit (it's not the first time there was a retroactive rep change to knock people's rep down a bit). When rep gets too high for everyone, it looses some value because at some point everyone would have the maximum amount (11 bars I think).

You should try to break your perceived value of reputation, because one day you might wake up and it could be completely gone for the whole forum. :)

    Yeah, I agree.

I suppose I just started relating my rep points to my overall reputation and it got me down to think that actions I took to improve that, ended up decreasing that.

I am going to have a little fun with those DP dollars though ;)

You're peacekeeping, when anyone's abilities is not even being questioned.

Say what you want, it's besides the point, as you're focusing on abilites and they were not in question.
