I dont think so, he must have got atleast a rep power of 8 as he has more than 7K posts and he is mem of DP for more than 365 days Excelent Point.....well said.
Some new site policy, and maybe CRON is just now catching up? I just got the same thing for repremanding someone over encouraging illegal activity from the general membership back in March. I also reported the thread, and I'm shocked it's still there! Edit: gotta read further sometimes http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=811856#post811856
check this out http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=75860 now you have to pay if you give someone a red, i 've got 8 of them this morning
Last I heard, IamNed had started a thread saying "I don't want to be IamNed anymore"... which confused me a little... I mean, if you're Ned, how can you NOT be Ned? You knowdily-know it, Nedly. Okely-dokely.
Caydel, sam is right, what you are seeing means that YOU gave someone a red rep on that thread, so it cost you 1 point
The answer is in this result from wiki Noun Singular IamNed Plural IamNed (vulgar slang) An insulting term describing one as having less intelligence than a typical rear-end.
I lost about 30 points but, most importantly I was about to start a new thread about the lost points when I saw this thread All thanks to Expertu
hehe, I went looking for who red repped me for red reppping. I gave up, but found this thread. Now I get it. Some folks are worth the one point hit. But I have been giving green to those I don't agree with in hopes a postive push of disagreement may make them more open minded. But at the end of the day, it's no big deal. I get to feel like a school yard kid when ever rep comes up. :/
I was king of the red for a while... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=812057&postcount=36
Ah - I see. I guess I missed that thread.... Well, happily, I am still well into the green. The only thing I worry about is that this may lower the quality of the boards, as people are now quite reluctant to red rep poor posts.... But that's a subject for one of the other threads here. Thanks for clearing everything up, guys (or gals, I guess!) Caydel
