    I just noticed the drop in greenees and started to freak out. Then I found this thread and saw how drastic some of the changes are. I'm actually ahead of Mella now. I sure didn't see that coming :eek:

    I think this is a very good thing and it really makes the rep system very useful now and I applaud Shawn for making it happen.

    Still the best Fourm on the net :D

    Might I suggest, doing something similar with post counts? Dont let the posts in the BS forums count toward post count and credit rep of those who post more count for more? meaning making the quality topic posters stronger in rep and post count.

    Another suggestion, make a page for the homepage links (as drawn from the user profile or signature) of the top 50 rep users - a page designed to have strong pr, so people migt actually aspire to get there and post more qulaity topics.

    Working on something regarding post counts that (if it works out) will be a good compromise and make everyone happy.

    I'm gonna nix the "free links" if you do something idea though. :)

    I'd like to see the person giving the rep being named. vBulletin allows this and it would solve alot of problems. I don't mind being given anonymous green or red but there has been suspicion that some people are giving other people's names on rep and that is very concerning.
