I've noticed that many of the best directories, BOTW for instance have inner pages that are zero pr, which is where my link would go. I've always wondered if it was worth it? In the past I'd only pay for a listing if the page had a high pr value. Will Google see the link and give more trust to my site? Is merely having a link in a high quality directory worth the price? Or are links on zero pr pages worthless? Thanks! Boog
google has stopped showing the PR from a lot of inner pages to deter link selling for PR it doesnt actually mean the page has any less value than it did before but now you have to look a little harder as to if its worth it if the page is indexed, cached lately, doesn't contain a large number of links and is in your niche then it should be
Pr isnt the be all and end all. Pr in some form is importan but building relevant content o your site is the most important thing.
IMO the most important thing is that whether the site is de-index, if you cannot find the site by typing the domain, just save your money.
I agree with what was said above. If the site is old, well trusted etc i still pay to put my sites in. For example BOTW, Joe Ant.
I could only imagine what this guy is going threw with his PR9 directory World's Oldest University Directory PR9 Seems its up for sell now though laterz malcolm
BOTW has some inner pages PR5 but the deeper you go they lower the PR is dropping but still their link could be thought of as an authority link
