Hey, I've been searching around and haven't been able to find much except for companies tooting their own horns. Is there an industry-recognized domain appraisal firm? I'm interested in a domain name, but I feel that the seller is asking too much and I am thinking that an appraisal could be a helpful tool in our negotiations (or who knows, maybe I could be off-base). So, anyone know of a large, well-known, trustable, reliable domain appraisal company?
If you're going to pay for an appraisal, the only company that I would ever consider is Moniker. Foget about crappy companies like Godaddy or others similar that charge you for an appraisal, but it's a computerised appraisal. Moniker is one of the most respected companies in the domaining industry
