I am selling the browser based game that was one of my very first websites.
It has been extremely successful, the peak was probably over a year ago. At this point there were 1000 users playing it every day. Since then I have moved onto new projects, and the number of players has decreased dramatically. This site needs attention, which is why I am selling it.

Monetary side of things
The site was making approximately $1000/month about a year ago, last summer. About $200 from adsense and $800 from gold memberships. Since then I have removed both of these because I started earning money from other things.

I cannot prove the memberships. The way they worked is that certain parts of the game were restricted to players who bought gold credits via paypal. Paypal records can't go back that far. I can show you adsense earnings, these can be seen here:

technical details
This game is over 10,000 lines of code, PHP and MySQL, as well as some flash games. I will of course help the buyer with the game in the first few months so you get the hang of it. There are still some bugs in the game, and it can be developed a lot further than what it is currently.
For someone who likes game programming, this is a great opportunity.

The database contains a table with over 14,000 email addresses of people who have played the game at some point, so a new owner sending out a bulk email would probably bring back a lot of old users.

The premium membership was credit based, so you could spend as much as you wanted. This is why you see some payments of $3 and some of $100.

Also a few serious questions:

Will you reuse the script on another domain after the sale? Or does the buyer get the unique and full rights to the script?

Govern-online.net is mine too. I will include it in the sale for an extra $100. I will not use the script for any other game, you buying it will give you full rights to the script.

I will do my best to get the stats, I am going out in a few minutes but I will upload them when I am back. Daily uniques are around 500-700 people, of those about 300 people are active players (active in the last 2 days).

There is 0 income from the site right now.

Well i think the game rocks. I play myself.
I dont have $1500 or anything of that sorta right now.
But what do you think about partnership more like?

After placing the adsense and whatever ill run it for 40% of the profit. Ill be doing what i love, administration, and youll be doing nothing yet reciving 60% of the profit.

OK, I have decided that I would be willing to let someone take over the game and share revenue with them. i.e. you wouldn't buy the site, but you could make money from it.

It is coded in php and mysql, and I learned php while developing this game, so some of the coding is terrible.

If anyone is interested in a revenue sharing model, with you programming, please contact me with some info about past experience that you have had etc.

 

I have played this game for two years. Nine months of which it was my only social contact while I was going through Chemo... I dont have a lot of money right now. But I am willing to buy the site, reinstate some of the gold and adsense.
The most I can give you is 500$. But maybe we can come up with other arrangements to add up.

I love this game with a passion. I dont know how to code. But I can get help for that.
