I don't care about rep here...if they're sending me...ok ...if they aren't...that's fine with me...I guess I say the same thing....rep is almost a joke
it depends on the forum - in some forums you get really fast a green rep and sometimes not. It does not say allways somethng about the person - if he is friendly and helpful or not....
The rep system is often more of a buddy system than it is anything else. You can see General Chatters with tons of rep while others who use DP as a webmaster forum (oh my god is this a webmaster forum) may have very few. We are all guilty of random rep, that is why rep is not worth much expect tohave those pretty little blobs on every post.
I don't think you have anything to worry about these days I think rep's cool it's encourages people to help each other when maybe they normally wouldn't!
I think you need to shut up and not use me as a shield just because your insecure. As for staying ontopic: I get reputation for good posts and what not, and once in a while someone will say, I expect green in return or something.
I had got this in my mind few times, thinking how hard it is to get good reputation, how hard it is to increase the blobs? People here have tonnes on hand within no time! I think DP seriously needs to consider starting a forum for Reputation Trade or Exchange!
i dont think they should open such a forum, the original idea for rep is that its only given when someone writes a good post. excanges or trades have nothing to do with them
I think it is common for forums to have reputation points. I don't fully know why. Maybe for banning purposes? lol

I don't mind having a high rep but it's not something I will go out of my way to gain by using unethical methods.
For BST I think it is more on the Itrader points, not rep. Anyway these are just guidance, trading on the Internet is still risky no matter what.
