Hi DPers Well as some of you knew, I recently travelled to Milton Keyes after being shortlisted to complete agaisnt the best web designers in the UK and I made a thread about this see http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=178539 Anyway there were 6 of use in total, we had no Internet access or resources and a 30 min break per day! it was intense but great, and the theme was a driving school site lol. Anyway at the end we each presented our websites separately and then got interviewed, we were told that 3 of us would be futher shortlisted and complete agaisnt each other in Feburary. Anyway i received a phone call the next informing me that I have been shortlisted, which I was estatic about, however I asked, 'who else got through' she replied 'no one else' She said that my presentation was amazing and she only put me through!, at that moment I was nearly fitting lol. Anyway my part time job are looking to sponsor me, as I will be going to Japan and over 250,000 people will attend!!!!!! Like to thank DP members for helping me understading different aspects of sites & SERPS & SE p.s. if any directory/site would like to sponsor me when I go Japan feel free, as I will be getting many interviews and media coverage aswell as over 250,00 0 visitors etc. etc I now have to go to a couple of training events over the next couple of months and then I go Japan Thanks everyone for your support Ash p.s.s sorry about typos
