    I'll be there. I first went to SES San Jose in 2004. I too was looking at the price and debating. But in the end it was well worth it. I took my wife with me and she did the intro track while I did more tech stuff. I was inspired and I am pretty sure my multiplication of income about 4 months afterward is connected to what I did during and after SES. And now again, I'm not sure what I can learn at this point....but I always get some great inspiration during SES, Pubcon, etc....

    I wouldnt go if it was free and down the street, but thats just me :). I would if someone paid for my gas money. Gas in america is crazy high.

    Compared to what? I think the US has the cheapest gas prices in the world (not counting Brazil or Venezuela... they pay like $0.15/gallon).

    you call almost 3$ a gallon cheap? The difference is those other countrys hardly use cars, they have strong public transportation systems. Other than new york america sucks at public transportation.
