as I said LONG LONG AGO I will put up the prize but im not going to run it at all.... Nintendo was in charge of laying the rules so dont look to me for a winner
I've been 1st at the midnight. I've even got a screenshot but without date, so it's useless... I think there is no winner and one looser - G Base, 'cause it doesn't cope with the spam (however, You'll be baned about two-three next days [even I didn't report You])
A screenshot with or without the date is pointless, anyone can change the time on their pc... Most of us that have been in the top 10 since the beginning of this have been reported (by each other) and removed by Google several times...whats the point? Everyone knows it spamable, there is no real way to SEO GBase at this point? There were no clear rules because everyone knew about the spamming, but now that Google shows the profile rather than forwarding to the exteral link, we can all see this, so there is no way to hide it. It's all a simple numbers game...who has the most effective spam to put them at the top at 1/1/06...
Exactly. That's why I've just updated my item, no more d****s spam, congrats to myself or You (or whoever won), have a nice day, gotta work
Can someone summarize things learned from the contest? I am not involved in affiliate programs. Is base.google.com beneficial at this point if you are not involved in affiliate sales? Shannon
If there's a winner, it depends on the time zone. Going by Googles time, PST, the time that's listed, it's the other guy... http://base.google.com/base/items?oid=8824445155422699640 Posted on Dec 31, 2005 11:43pm Going by Shoemoney's time zone it's me! http://base.google.com/base/items?oid=5315212956012032722 Posted on Dec 31, 2005 3:38pm Some one who wasn't entering should of been the one to take charge!! Massive conflict of interest!!!
What we learned is that there was no SEO involved, Black, White, or Grey, we also learned that Base is extremely susceptible to spam at this point, it was a silly little contest, why is everyone so serious around here...
Who said anything about being serious? I think it wouldn't be easy for google to fix this, so it will probably stay like that for some time,..
n00bie question...What's the difference between the different 'SEO *COLORS*, Black, White, Grey, Pink, Blue...
