hey steve, had another idea, thought i would run it by you, its only a demo version so far, more need to be done on the design

 

3 header options for mine:

 

if you like mine, i can finish it up and add any edits you want, the contest is over in like 30 mins so im just posting something to show you what i've gotten so far, the header will have simmilar effects to the other ones entered and the cs3 box cover, the footer will have a nice web 2.0 look to it.

 

Thanks, all - I'm out with the in-laws at the moment - BlackBerry's are great 'n all, but they're soooo slow to load up web pages, and of course all I'm seeing is thumbnail size images!

Even so, the postage stamp sized new entries look great - I can't wait to see them in their full screen glory.

I'm going to give this contest extra 18 hours, I won't be properly online again for at least another 5 hours (11:30pm UK time), which will not give me enough time to review the submissions properly tonight.

So, 12 midday UK time tomorrow is the deadline, so plenty of time to put finishing touches to your work!

One last thing before my texting hand drops off, I've seen a few entries with the actual product box in the design...

...it's not the box that I'm looking for in the design, but the design on the box itself.

hey steve here is a variation of the newest design, its the same swirly things of the box, first one had the white (just like the box) this one has blue

awiekupo Thanks for spamming my contest, I mean that, because for a brief time you bumped me to the top! Please PM me with your offer so I can turn it down in person.

istvan - I like the shape of your entry, very nice, and a cheeky little face. Not quite 'finished' enough at the moment, though. Also, I really like your colour scheme, but it doesn't seem to be the same as PS CS3. It HAS, however, fitted the colour scheme for my next site, so please expect a PM soon!

DustyDog - I've always really liked your designs, you have a lot of style. At the moment, just as istvan, it doesn't feel 'complete'. I know it's only your second attempt, though, and I LoVE everything about it. Please, if the time zone suits, give it another crack!

DaveyBoy - I'm not a designer, so you'll probably scoff when I say I prefer your design from this afternoon than the one this evening. I like the little face, very cute, very appealing, and I love the random pattern in the left hand corner (I don't know why you got rid of it?)...also, I think your gesture to reward dvirhazout for the smiley face is very noble - thanks! It's only right that I add some cash into dvirhazout's account for thinking of the concept. I'm happy to do that. P.S. Your design is very close!

robotic - Thanks for the multiple entries. Green reps on their way! Nice use of colour, I'd like to see the design without the product box!

longhornfreak - THANKYOU - I asked for a page layout, and you have given me a page layout! Thanks for coming up with a decent design with such short notice...BTW, you have about another 12 hours to deliver on your web 2.0 promise...starting now!

Tropica - Well, once again , you have interpreted my vision. You're leading the way! 2 requests if I may? - you've just filled the top right hand side of the header with blue. Could you fill it with the orange/yellow, please? Don't get me wrong - your latest design is superb, but most visitors won't ever reach the bottom of the page, and I wouldn't want them to miss out on the fantastic effect you've created.

Second, can you do something with the smiley face idea 'OtO'?

Folks - I defy you to beat Tropica or DaveyBoy to the prize!

Yeah I thought you might prefer the other one Steve, I like em both, i wasn't sure which to use so kept them both there.

I'll try and work on the other one a little bit - pretty late here (as you know heh) so i'll do my best anyway!

here is my entry wich is not finished and I won't be able to finish it 'till tuesday. 'cause I'll be living home on monday and I'll be back tuesday.So...if you like my design, and you're willing to wait untill tuesday, I''l be glad to finish what I've started.

I borowed the package with the software, can be removed and replaced( I didn't had time to make one)

Going out on a limb here...I've created a collage style header for the page using some "cool" PS techniques.....a.k.a...showed off a little .....so, hope you like it...;o) Would be happy to make any changes if you like the general concept..

**You will see two light black lines running accross the top of the page at a diagonal, these were placed only as a water mark...and would not be in the delivered page...
