    following the upgrade instruction but machine will not progress past "Searching for installed components" have let it sit there for more than 30 mins

    i was following those instructions but when i try to load the new version it hangs at "Searching for installed components" and eventually stops responding and had to reboot because it would not close

    Hmmmm... the searching for installed components basically just searches your hard drive. What OS are you using, does it have a ton of different drives in it and/or lots of files on them?

    lots of files but only 2 drives. i let it stay on that screen for more than 30 mins
