Hi, - Lets’ say page www. mysite. com/a.php has 1 block of Adsense links using ad channel “Page A. - Let's say we setup two reports, one tracking channel “Page A†and another tracking url “www. mysite. com/a.phpâ€. (they should report the same because there's only that block of adLinks on the page) - Now let’s assume somebody clicked on 1 adlink and then on 1 of the ads in the AdSense page opened, so we have 1 valid click. I might be confused or something, but apparently the valid click shows up in the report tracking the channel but not in the report tracking the url itself (maybe because, in fact, the click happened on a third page). Is this the way it is supposed to be? Thanks.
Maybe one of your ads has a different channel (or none at all)... URL channels are supposed to be cumulative totals of all ads within the URL, whether they have a channel or not.
Including clicks on the ads displayed after a user click on a link unit? (the point is: clicks on ads from a link unit happen in a different url, not the url where the link unit is placed, so i was wondering if a url channel tracks them right. I'm seing contradictory reports and trying to figure it out why).
Sorry, my mistake. A block of ads on a different page was using the same channel by accident. URL and channel reports could't display the same results. Thanks.
