Reporting URL

    let's say my website is yahoo.com

    i put yahoo.com on reporting URL

    and receive click at news.yahoo.com

    will it not show on reporting URL under yahoo.com?

    it wont even show up if its www.yahoo.com add all subdomains with and without www. prefix.
