What exactly is the incentive to report these Adsense violations? I can't see how it's helpful with the exception of eliminating competition for certain webmasters.
And why the heck is my "Adsense" text red? I didn't set that... weird... -p.s- I keep checking this page and the word "adsense" is red, everything else normal....
LoL! Really? That can't be.... you mean Google actually DOES have a volunteer geek fascist army at their disposal???!?!?!? *cringes* (Google if you somehow find this: I'm just joking, I love you, don't hurt me ) These people will just follow Google's bidding and destroy thine Google's enemies? I'm scared....
There is a great deal of incentive for me to report AdSense violators. Less violators or cheaters means there is more money for the rest of us. Advertisers are also likely to spend more money on content ads if more of their clicks are valid and generate more revenue for them.
Cheaters are usually sending traffic that doesn't convert, so eliminating that traffic yields a higher ROI for the advertisers who will be more willing to increase their bids for higher positions.
You're taking the wrong approach. Want more money? Get more traffic. People don't get $1000 days reporting people. LOL!
That is like what is the benefit of turning someone in who comes to your brick-and-mortar store front and dumps 50 lbs of trash outside your door every morning. It can negatively impact your business and your bottom line. This has been discussed a great deal. Suffice it to say TOS violators potentially impact all Adsense publishers in a negative way and can impact your ability to make money with adsense. The question you should be asking is why shouldn't you be reporting them?
