reporting / stopping inbox spam

Hi,

I was trying to find this in your FAQ but couldn't

I'm getting spammed by a new user, how do I report the spamming and who do i report it to?

 

Contact the MODS through PM or just post it here (who ever spams and what he sent)

 

Best to do in case of PM spam.

Forward it to a moderator ALONG WITH the offending user's profile page url.

hey yes dude I am also getting spammed by some new members who dont have even 1 post asking for link exchange and all stuff

 

just report it to a MOD , they will get banned ...

 

Perhaps they don't have that much guts to send a PM spam to a moderator.

 

They know their chances of getting banned after sending mods a spam messages rises to 100% where as to us it is just 60%

that's pretty logical though. A member who have 500+ post doesn't know who is mod, but a spammer actually spent time looking for mod...
